SOCKET: Meet Rasool Jahan


Rasool Jahan portrays Carol in SOCKET, the best friend of Dr. Bill Matthews and girlfriend of wise-cracking Olivia.
Rasool was born in Ankara, Turkey. She had lived in both Taiwan and England before moving to the States.
Her film credits include Anthony Minghella's all-star epic COLD MOUNTAIN, and the role of Deb in the original
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER and DRESS CODE directed by Shirley MacLaine! Theatrically trained with many Shakespearean credits under her belt, Rasool has acted on television in FREEDOM SONG with Danny Glover and in THE LOCKET with Vanessa Redgrave. Other TV credits include several episodes of DAWSON'S CREEK and the co-starring role in the made-for-TV movie, THE SECRET. SOCKET: Meet Alexandra Billings


On the heels of her GLAAD Award-nominated guest starring role on the ABC mega-hit GREY'S ANATOMY, the amazing Alexander Billings portrays the hard-edged Dr. Emily Andersen in SOCKET. Multiple award-winning Ms. Billings' other recent credits include the prestigious NBC series E.R.. Alex has starred in numerous stage productions including her acclaimed one-woman autobiographical show BEFORE I DISAPPEAR at LA's The Avery Schreiber Theatre, and Off Broadway at The Producer's Club. Her nightclub act has toured Chicago, Santa Fe, Palm Springs, and New York. Her many Chicago theater credits include Mama Rose in GYPSY; a 2 year run of HAMLET-THE MUSICAL and her all time favorite role as Cruella DeVil in 101 DALMATIONS. In 2003, Alexandra made TV history by being the first transgendered female to play a transgendered female character on television in ROMY AND MICHELLE- A NEW BEGINNING. Already beloved for her stage work, her role in the genre-busting SOCKET will no doubt gain her many new fans as well.
